Here at Robertson and Orr Veterinary Practice Ltd we take your privacy seriously and we only use your personal information to administer your account to provide the products and services you have requested from us with regards to your animal/s.
We may also pass your details to the following companies with regards to the welfare of your animal/s:
- University of Glasgow veterinary school
- The Royal (Dick) school of Veterinary Studies
- Broadley’s Veterinary Hospital
- Idexx laboratory
- Finn Pathology
- SAC Veterinary Services
Should any other referral centres/laboratories be used we will gain consent from you first.
From time to time we would like to contact you with vaccine & worming reminders. We will only contact you with regards to this if you have provided consent at the point of registration.
WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE COLLECT?
We will collect the following information:
Client name, contact information including address, email address and phone number.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect in practice and online.
CONTROLLING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
If you have previously agreed to us using your personal information for direct marketing purposes, you may change your mind at anytime by writing or emailing us at info@robertsonandorr.co.uk
We will not distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.
All personal information is held for 10 years after which time we will just hold the information of your animals and your surname.

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please contact reception, the practice manager, write to or email us as soon as possible. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.
